So I just finished reading The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner. Check out my The Lost Apothecary book review here! In the novel there is a significant scene that includes a fig dessert liquor served at a dinner party. I thought the mention of a fig dessert liquor just sounded so fancy that I started a bit of research to see if I could whip up my own version. But that ended up being a hard no. Instead, to set the figgy atmosphere that I was searching for, I decided to go for my easy Fig and Almond Baked Brie Cheese recipe.

This baked brie recipe is simple and serves as an easy sharable recipe ready in just under 20 minutes. The Fig & Almond Baked Brie Cheese recipe only calls for a few ingredients and the toppings can be easily switched with other ingredients you may already have on hand.
